Country-Western Dancing

With great pleasure we announce the return of weekly Country-Western nights in Palm Springs, and our chapter will be a part of it! Impala confirmed earlier this week Country-Western nights (“C-W”) will launch there on Saturday, September 2, and continue every Saturday evening year ‘round. C-W is planned as a social, dance, and more. The evening is expected to begin with live performances by acclaimed Country-Western vocalist, Sean Taylor Jackson, for your dancing and listening pleasure. Dancing is encouraged during Sean’s performances. That will blend into continuing dance and merriment music spun by a DJ the remainder of the evening. Other highlights include full bar service, comfortable seating, and food options for persons wanting to make an evening of it in an attractive and delightfully air-conditioned space. C-W is planned to begin 7pm and end between 10 and 11pm. It will be open to everyone and admission is free.

Impala is located at 333 S. Palm Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs (the SW corner of Palm Canyon & Baristo). Plenty of free parking is available nearby as well as in the downtown parking garage one block away.

We are in discussion with Impala for our chapter to host a monthly fundraiser there one Saturday each month. The first is planned Saturday, September 23 , and probably will continue thereafter on the second Saturday of each month. Indeed, we’d like that first fundraising event for Hot Rodeo to be a reunion of our members and friends after so many months of inactivity. Please mark your calendar and plan to join fellow chapter members and friends at Impala every Saturday; but particularly Opening Night next Saturday, September 2, and the first fundraising event there on Saturday, September 23 .
